As part of an EU project looking into how Augmented Reality could be used in a modern ‘smart city’ Sparta Digital created an app for use at the 2016 Manchester Chinese New Year Celebration.

The app was a test into the capabilities of smart phones to handle Augmented Reality delivered through mobile data networks rather than Wifi connections. Because of this I was tasked with creating low file sized animations that would serve as content for a treasure hunt game.

The app would be further developed and used at Manchester Pride and the Manchester Christmas Markets.
